I did manage to fit in a little digi-scrapping at the end of last year in between family and traveling and snow and ahem, not finishing my december daily or my Project Life  (both in process)  sometimes it’s just great to do something start to finish in one sitting…done

Both of these layouts (which I am presenting as a 2 page layout) are from a beautiful digital kit designed by my dear friend Janet Carr of Little Feet Digital Designs.  the kit is available HERE and it is gor-ge-ous as you can see.  Since the page with photos was so colorful, I opted to change all of my photos to black and white so they would stand out.  I used PSE8 (i know, i know time to upgrade) and the “convert to b/w” settings to change the photos.

I found this video through a digi-scrapping blog I follow (Katie at http://www.scrapbookladypages.com she’s part of the Daily Digi – love them!) It is a terrific video, if you have teenage girls or you were a teenage girl or you’re going to have a teenage girl…then this is a must-watch. Please share and pass along!! Week in the Life – The put-together for Friday 9/13

I did not take too many pictures today…OK, that’s kind of relative to the average person but for the purposes of this project, 59 is not a lot.  My inner art director decided to go with just a two page spread today and only include the best photos of the bunch.  Quick annotations on the collage page (and the “p” alliteration was completely by accident)  Quiet average day, errands, chores, soccer, a girls crafting and a yummy beer to end the day !

Photos:  I started with 59 images, I deleted down to 33 (more decisive today!), of that I used 24.  Templates, Paper and Embellishments (same as the rest of the week):

Am steaming along now because I just found out that Persnickety Prints is having a print sale on SATURDAY!  (squeeee!) and I want to have these all done and uploaded so I can take advantage of the sale.  In looking over the pictures today, there was one or two stories and the rest felt kind of dis-jointed…hence, the blow-ups of the morning kitchen !  Lots of crafting today with my partner in crime Sara and the girls making Rainbow Loom bracelets…the dogs even had a playdate and poor Shadow didn’t move off of the sofa the entire day!
