Hi all! I am finally getting around to some oh so much needed blog organizing and updating and wanted to give everyone a heads up that I’ve updated my “Memory Keeping” section to include my “Week in the Life” pages from 2012 and 2013. 2013 was probably my most favorite year so far. I did not take too many pictures today…OK, that’s kind of relative to the average person but for the purposes of this project, 59 is not a lot. My inner art director decided to go with just a two page spread today and only include the best photos of the bunch. Quick annotations on the collage page (and the “p” alliteration was completely by accident) Quiet average day, errands, chores, soccer, a girls crafting and a yummy beer to end the day !

Am steaming along now because I just found out that Persnickety Prints is having a print sale on SATURDAY! (squeeee!) and I want to have these all done and uploaded so I can take advantage of the sale. In looking over the pictures today, there was one or two stories and the rest felt kind of dis-jointed…hence, the blow-ups of the morning kitchen ! Lots of crafting today with my partner in crime Sara and the girls making Rainbow Loom bracelets…the dogs even had a playdate and poor Shadow didn’t move off of the sofa the entire day!

Finally got this day done. I realized after I pulled everything together, I didn’t have anything that captured the fact that it was September 11th, and the anniversary of the attacks. I decided that it was what it was and not to try and make up stuff that I didn’t document. I had some beautiful early morning flag photos that I took when I got up that morning but I had already used similar ones in a previous layout…so here is Wednesday, half day for the girls, super hot day….I’m having fun coming up with mini themes for a row of pictures which I’m really liking.
Photos: I started with 146 images, I deleted down to 89 (indecisive…again), of that I used 28 (counting all the screen shots of the ridiculously high temperatures!) I did very little photo editing, if any.

Well, I managed to pull this together in less than two hours including helping child with her homework AND watching Project Runway (squeeee!!)
I felt like a had a weird collection of photos for Tuesday, there were hardly any photos of people, mostly shots around the house and lots of the world while running errands. So, I told seven stories. View from the front porch, Sue, Dog, Nighstands, Project, Farm Co-op and Library. It took a day of mulling it over to figure out how to work the photos into vignettes but I feel pretty good about it!
Photos: I started with 109 images, I deleted down to 82 (indecisive), of that I used 22. I edited photos, mostly to brighten and lighten them up in PSE.
