Art + Science of Scrapbooking, 16 brain-boosting challenges to strengthen your creative process taught by Stacy Julian and Jennifer Wilson

Starts 5/15/2014 $45

Class Description

Are you a right-brained person who embraces possibility and spontaneity, thrives on imagination, relies on feelings, and thinks in symbols and images? Are you a left-brained person who practices strategy and order, finds comfort in facts, relies on logic, and thinks in words and language?

The answer to both questions is “yes!” In The Art + Science of Scrapbooking, a mind-bending workshop from Stacy Julian and Jennifer Wilson, you’ll learn to harness the creative power of both sides of your brain.

In four illuminating weeks, right-brainer Stacy Julian and left-brainer Jennifer Wilson will help you embrace your natural cognitive strengths. But they’ll also challenge themselves, each other, and YOU to find a new sense of balance and power as you explore the other side of your brain.

I’ve crossed one thing off of my to-do list (yay!!) and I’ve shaped up the “Reads” portion of my blog.  I wanted to let you, my faithful blog readers know that I finally got my act together and updated everything !!  I need to start reading more this year, as I mention in the intro to Reads:  2014… you really don’t get much read when you start really really late at night and read a page or two at a time!

So, pop on over to the home page with the link below or the bar above and maybe you’ll find something to READ that sparks your interest.  And, PLEASE don’t forget to support your local public library !!

…and I know we’d be best friends!

For your Friday morning…I thought I’d share one of my favorite blogs/shows/best-friend-but-she-doesn’t-know-it !   I introduced my sister to Ree Drummond with this email this morning, it pretty much sums up why I love her blog and her show…

“Hey guys!
I’m emailing you this link for several reasons…
1.  Love Ree…if I lived in northeastern Oklahoma, I know we’d be best pals 😉
2.  The food she makes is totally delicious, and doesn’t use super crazy ingredients that most people don’t have
3.  I love “the lodge” where she shoots her shows, when you guys were talking about building a house, this is what came to my mind.
4.  There are horses
5.  Just saw that you can watch full episodes online (!) so you don’t need tv food network on your cable!
I know you guys will love her as much as I do!
Sis “
From me to all of you!  If you haven’t visited Ree, go over and say Hello!
